Some shoots are about gear and swings. This one was about a person’s story. At The Saticoy Club in Somis, California, Bogey2Putt’s Aron sat down with Brigitte Dunne, a former SMU college golfer who competed on the Epson Tour, for an open conversation about her experience with OCD and how it shaped her path through competitive golf. I was behind the camera.
The Project
This was the most personal interview I’ve filmed for the channel. When someone is being that open about a difficult experience, the camera work has to get out of the way, steady, unobtrusive setups, framing that lets the conversation breathe, and enough patience to let a real moment land instead of rushing the cut. It’s a different skill set than filming a swing tip or a course review, and it’s the kind of work I’m glad to have been part of.
If your project calls for a videographer who can handle a sensitive or personal interview with care, see more of my work and get in touch here.
