For this Bogey2Putt episode, Aron sat down with actor and comedian Erick Esteban (@erickestebancomedy), who hadn’t swung a golf club in over two decades, for a backyard conversation near DeBell Golf Course that goes from golf terminology lessons to “hosel rockets” on the driving range. I was behind the camera on this one.

The Project

This shoot had two locations in one conversation: a relaxed backyard interview, then a move to the driving range for genuinely unscripted, chaotic swings. Comedy content lives and dies on capturing the real reactions, so the job was staying ready for the unplanned moments, the mishits, the facial expressions, without losing the interview’s flow.
