I’m a 16-handicap weekend golfer. I don’t get free gear. I buy what I use with my own money, play it for a while, and tell you whether it was worth it. That’s the whole premise.
Below is what’s actually in my bag and on my practice setup right now. Some of these are affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission if you buy through them. It doesn’t change the price you pay, and I’d never recommend something I don’t actually use.
My Golf Bag on Amazon
I keep an updated list on my Amazon storefront with the specific balls, training aids, accessories, and gear I actually play with. It’s the real stuff, no filler.
Launch Monitor: Rapsodo MLM2 Pro
I tested a TrackMan once in a fitting bay and nearly bought it on principle. Then I came home and bought a Rapsodo MLM2 Pro instead, because I’m a 16-handicap and I needed to be honest with myself. It gives me real shot data, club speed, ball speed, smash factor, carry distance, and shot shape. Works outdoors. Pairs with your phone. The price is actually achievable for a normal golfer. I use it in my backyard. I’ve written about it on the blog.
Disclosure: I’m a Rapsodo ambassador and earn a commission on purchases through that link. I bought mine before I had the ambassador deal. My opinion hasn’t changed.
